A Passion Grows
As a child, Eric always loved being outdoors, especially around the water. He developed a love for fishing at age five, when his Grandpa Ken began taking him out on the boat. They enjoyed many fishing trips together on the St. Johns River catching Bass and Brim, and making memories. He began to do more saltwater fishing throughout his childhood and teen years. During college at FAU, he and his roommates began spearfishing by swimming off of the beach and exploring the reefs, freediving for lobster and fish. By the end of college, spearfishing became Eric’s favorite hobby.
Finn-Atic Fish Co. is Born
After graduating with a business degree and realizing that office work wasn’t for him, Eric began to spearfish for a living. He has spent the last twelve years learning the ocean, fish patterns, and how to be most productive with his time. Now, his office spans from the Florida Keys to the Northeast coast of Florida depending on where the fish can be found. Eric is a part of a very small group of individuals who make 100% of their income from the ocean. Although he now fishes for a living, Eric is just as passionate about it as he was when he was a boy.
Lisa and Eric work together on business tasks off the water. They have two daughters and a son who are also learning to love the ocean and fishing.

Every fish we sell is caught by Eric, his crew, and a handful of other
select local fisherman.
